A Life Dedicated to Inclusion:
Dr. Kanodia’s lived experience of disability has fuelled his lifelong commitment to social justice. He transitioned from a successful investment banking career to focus on disability rights, co-founding a global diversity NGO and serving on numerous boards and committees dedicated to accessibility and inclusion.

London’s ULEZ Transformation: Led a successful campaign to ensure the world’s first ULEZ considered the needs of disabled people, securing exemptions and financial support.
Dr Kush Kanodia is described by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, as a passionate disability rights champion who has made a massive difference to the lives of disabled people in London.
#NoWheelChairTax Campaign: Abolished disabled car parking charges at over 200 NHS hospitals across England, a significant policy change benefiting over 2.5 million disabled blue badge holders.
Kent University stated: This is by some margin the single largest and most impactful change in the treatment of disabled people in the history of the NHS.
Global Advocacy: Advises on government policy, speaks at international conferences, and works with organisations worldwide to promote disability inclusion.
Selected as the 2nd most power and influential disabled person in the UK with the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 at House of Lords in 2019.
