He/him
Aspiring psychologist, public speaker, podcaster, disability advocate

Starting out as a cashier in an Alliance & Leicester branch in Nottingham I’ve worked in a variety of banking and legal roles working to Head of Sales Assurance before moving out of banking due to culturally negative views of disabled people. I’m now moving towards my core beliefs and retraining as a psychologist. I’ve been a speaker and hosted award winning podcasts focussing on mental and physical disabilities with many wonderful guests. I, perhaps, found disability sport too late in life to compete but enjoy using sport to show my support young family that disability doesn’t mean you can’t it just means you are forced to adapt. My dream would be a world where accessibility is central to all design making the world accessible to all.

It took me 36 years to start to describe myself as disabled, the only thing this did was make life more difficult and asking for accommodations that much more difficult. I now make it my mission to help others come to terms with who they are so they can get the help they need.
