Transport, Retail, Service and Hospitality

I have worked in the Aviation Industry for 20 years and have experience in a variety of areas within an airline and support functions. As an expert within Accessible Aviation I strive to ensure that barriers to travel by air are identified and removed sharing best practice within my own airline and across industry via the panels I sit on and Conferences I speak at. When identifying barriers I use my own lived experience to put the customer at the heart of my developments to ensure that they are able to have an equitable and equal journey. Most recently I have set up airport visit experiences so that disabled people can understand their journey and plan for their trip before arriving at the airport on their day of departure.

As a person I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience of travel by air to help disabled people see travel by aviation as a viable transportation method empowering them to plan a trip and fulfil their personal and professional goals.

I am over the moon to be included on Power100 2024 alongside other disabled people who are working tirelessly to empower disabled people to live their lives as they want too.
