He/Him
Inclusive Workplace Lead

I’m currently Workplace Inclusion Lead for Lloyds Banking Group where I use my 23 years Group career journey, HR CiPD knowledge and lived experience of disability to drive the Banks vision to be one of the most globally inclusive and accessible places to work. Creating a more equitable world for everyone, but specifically those with disabilities is my passion!

I’ve have delivered in a variety of roles which has led me to being considered an established “Thought Leader and “Subject Matter Expert” on workplace inclusion, with significant knowledge on the needs of persons with disabilities. I like to persistently challenge the status quo in a positive professional manner bringing a sense of reality and my humour to often difficult conversations. I’m extremely organised, methodical and have a gentle plain talking style with stakeholders of all levels.

My previous experiences include managing an award winning workplace adjustment offering, ownership of an internal 70,000+ user online e-learning system, and running multiple years of graduate recruitment, assessment and onboarding campaigns. I earned my stripes in the customer facing bank halls and regional directors offices.

My work in the field of Disability has gained significant respect and alongside my day job and I hold a variety of external consultancy, board member and ambassador roles. I’m currently working with Gatwick Airport, East West Rail, AccessAble, Liverpool Football Club and Permobil. I also regularly appear as a Keynote Speaker, Panel Guest/Moderator on the accessibility and inclusion circuit!

On top of all of all this I manage my own team of 8 carers to enable me to live my best life – my friends and colleagues question whether you will ever meet anyone so determined.

Don’t regret what you do, regret what you don’t do
